(This is semi-imaginary because I can’t even really type hanzi on my Mac, and although a good chunk of eg. a Leslie Cheung or Sandy Lam record from 1986 is dance music - which is what I want to talk about, mostly - the hit singles tend to be ballads, and so ballads are all you find on Youtube.)
